NABET (National Accreditation Board for Education and Training)

It is a constituent Board of Quality Council of India, Government of India. NABET has enlarged its scope of activities and is trying to match its progress with the slogan of QCI, “ Working for National well being”.

NABET has launched accreditation programme for Quality School Governance, in the country with a view to provide framework for the effective management and delivery of holistic education programme aimed at overall development of students.

Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam the then President of India while addressing the 2nd QCI National Quality Conclave in 2007, stated that if we had to bring quality in the Nation we need to begin at the roots—in schools.

Thus, the Accreditation Standard for Quality School Governance developed.
